Innisfil Hydro is a local electrical distribution company serving more than 15,500 homes, businesses, and industries within the Town of Innisfil. A staff of 37 work to administer the day-to-day operations of the hydro system.
Innisfil Hydro has used the FileNexus® Document Management System for more than 13 years to safely store and archive customer files. For example, Innisfil customers can easily view their bills online through Innisfil Hydro’s customer portal. An exact duplicate of every customer bill is archived in FileNexus® and available for immediate retrieval, allowing for clearer customer conversations and faster call resolutions.

In addition to its existing eBilling portal, Innisfil Hydro now gives customers the option of receiving their bills through ePost – a free digital mailbox and online presentment system operated by Canada Post.
With this additional functionality, FileNexus® automatically delivers bills to the epost digital mailbox, enabling registered customers to view their bill at any time, from anywhere, online. Innisfil Hydro is the second utility in Ontario to use their FileNexus® System to automatically serve customers who have signed up for ePost.
